[edit] re: RA

Ah, interesting source of references. My reference comes from the HyperRev magazines of Japan that focus solely on the Impreza, it's history and it's mods. I've actually sent an e-mail to Subaru of America to hear their response. Perhaps one can be sent to Subaru of Japan as they did build the Type RA versions. I will get a Japanese-fluent friend to do as such.

Sincerely, Impreza01 05:00, 8 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Update

Interestingly, Subaru of Japan's official response in the e-mail is as follows: この度はご質問をお寄せいただきまして有難うございました。 日頃はスバル車にご関心をお寄せくださいまして誠に有難うございます。

スバルインプレッサTYPE RA-Rの「RA」の意味は、 Rがレーシング、AがグループAという意味を持っています。

今後共にどうぞスバルを宜しくお願い申し上げます。

********************************* このメールボックスは発信専用です。 改めてのご質問は富士重工業のホームページFAQからお願いします。 *********************************

It translates to R = Racing, A = Group A (for WRC class, Group A racing)

[edit] Type RA marketting

The Type RAs were used to homologate for Group N rallying. I think the chassis was used for the Group A homologations before the 1997 change to the WRC class, aka Group A8. It is also possible that the acronym has changed over the years to adjust to what marketers need. I noticed the Legacy RS-RA, which set endurance records had RA as "Record Attempt". This was also shown for the 2005MY WRX STI Spec C Type RA that managed to lap the Nurburgring track under 8 minutes.

[edit] Deadly amanita

Fantastic dude, I shoulda realised - I checked a whole bunch of books and couldn't find it, then I googled but "Deadly Amanita" of course wasa disaster as it threw up ****loads of mere adjectives qualifying things.......and Benjamin was sitting in fronta me and I never checked..........cheers, Cas Liber | talk | contribs 13:47, 28 April 2007 (UTC)

...I can't bear the suspense.. I've nominated Amanita phalloides at FAC....cheers, Cas Liber | talk | contribs 05:34, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Benzodiazepine

Hello, Mr. Bungle,

The wikipeida article on benzodiazepines used to provide a link to a support website for a book I wrote on the topic. When I noticed that vistors were no longer coming to my website from wikipedia, I checked and saw that the external link had been removed. I replaced it, and then saw that you had removed it, apparently referring to my link as "spam."

The website for "The Benzo Book" contains information useful for people who may wish to discontinue usage of the drugs and links to online booksellers who sell the book. It also contains a downloadable pdf of the entire book which people can have for free, if they can't afford to buy my book. I have sold four hundred copies of The Benzo Book, but over two thousand people visiting the website have downloaded it for free. My interest is not to make money from this book but to share information that may be critical to people attempting to discontinue benzodiazepine use.

I ask you, respectfully, to reconsider your removal of the external link to my website. One of the other external links is to drugs.com. Above the information about benzodiazepines, drugs.com has Google advertisement links to buy Xanax on-line without a prescription. It would not be reasonable to believe that my website is spam while the drugs.com website is not.

OK maybe it was not appropriate, but did you watch that video? if not, i suggest you do as it is hilarious! Kitra101 00:00, 31 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] What is WRONG with YOU People?

Find one place on wikipedia where it says it is no okay to link to a blog. I intend to reinstate the link the Common Album review. If people don't want click on the link they don't have to.

[edit] GA

I was quickly thumbing through some various GA nominations on the candidates page when I saw Mr. Bungle up for GAC. I though "What the hell, why not?" ;) Regards NSR77 TC 01:52, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Presa canario

Thank you for your excellent work on the Presa Canario article! --AStanhope 06:25, 18 August 2007 (UTC)

FYI, I've used your wording in a sandbox on my user page (link). I've invited Frangible to add another paragraph per his recent comments at Talk:Perro_de_Presa_Canario. If you would like to help there, it would be most welcome. Thanks, R. Baley 21:26, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Cleanup on Spider bite

Thanks for cleaning up my reference. I need to be more careful about those things... --Hyperbole 22:21, 23 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Bupropion

Excellent work on the Overdose section. Thank you! Fvasconcellos (t·c) 23:29, 27 August 2007 (UTC)

It looks really good. Thank you!Paul gene 02:28, 29 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Drugs: Do not include detailed dosage and titration information.

Mr Bungle, I would appreciate your comments on the topic of acceptability of dosage and titration information on the MEDMOS Talk page. Thank youPaul gene 01:38, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Your editions of Sodium fluoroacetate

Mr Bungle, can you please explain why you removed a reference to the documentary on 1080? It is a first account of people witnessing and recording the effects. The video was broadcast on national TV channels and cannot be classified as unreliable. Please, undo that change or use the discussion where I asked about the reliability of the video if you have any concerns. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Envirozed (talkcontribs) 23:51, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

Great work! I gather you have the Bresinsky book..very handy. I was planning on getting Tricholoma pardinum to GA (and maybe FA) at some stage but was stuck trying to get a ref for it being mycorrhizal...and distribution is a real headache for all of them. Amanita ocreata is at FAC at the moment though Peter G. Werner and I have a differing views on what material may be extraneous to the article...cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 07:02, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, thing is where you wanna draw the line in the sand really...Bresinsky predates all the hoo-ha about Tricholoma equestre...does it have anything on toxicity in raw Blewits? I just ate my first Wood Blewit which are being sold in boutique markets in Sydney :) cheers, Casliber (talk · contribs) 08:15, 20 February 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Casliber (talkcontribs)

(outdent) I thought the Wood Blewits were really yummy and we were at my mum's who cooked up some with pork and beans, though I think they tasted nicer in butter than in oil...I found Lactarius deliciosus fairly average, but Pleurotus eryngii really nice..Casliber (talk · contribs) 04:42, 22 February 2008 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Casliber (talkcontribs)

[edit] Update numero two-o

Wow, great work on the brain fungus! Where I am, uploading pages is insanely slow so I hope I didn't wipe anything with some rearranging. Does it seem logical the new way? Still needs some jigging of text which I can do when I get my refs availabel later on...Casliber (talk · contribs) 05:43, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Update

Now I am musing on which of Amanita muscaria and Gyromitra esculenta is closer to WP:GAN...I sorta like the former but there is quite alot of material to sort out yet....Casliber (talk · contribs) 13:49, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Har har, I canned Mr Sinebot as one can do on its talk page... :) Casliber (talk · contribs) 07:55, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
