Mr Gay Ireland

Mr Gay Ireland is an annual beauty contest for gay men, with regional heats held in gay venues around Ireland, with a grand final held in late October in the George in Dublin.

Founded in 2005 and originally called Mr Gay Dublin, the event is organised by the Dublin Gay Theatre Festival, and its main purpose is to create friendly competition between the competing venues, as well as to raise money for LGBT charities. [1]

The contest is hosted by Brendan Courtney, alongside Dolly Grip, one of the George's resident drag queens.

This years contest will be hosted by infamous drag queen Sian Howllers aka The Wolf Lady who is famous for her 'skills' with a wine bottle.
