Mostly on prose issues. Here's a sample...

  • Please format the refs in a consistent manner, eg using {{cite web}}

No, the comment means that they all need the same information in a consistent manner - for internet refs please make sure they all give title, publisher and date retrieved, plus author if known. For example Current Ref 31 only has the title (About Ryuji Masuda) and does not give the publisher or date accessed, or on the review's I would give the reviewer's name as author (assume you are using {{cite web}}). I fixed ref 2 to switch to the actual title and moe the publisher into the publisher = field, so it now reads " "Ga-Ra-Ku-Ta: Mr. Stain on Junk Alley (TV)". Anime News Network. Retrieved on December 30, 2007." Ruhrfisch ><>°° 17:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

  • "Beautiful Lifa, from inside the mirror, beckoning to Handsome Stain(not in picture) at the end of episode fourteen." - her name is just "Lifa", so use that, and you need a space before the brackets open

  • "can be seen in an episode or two" - the prose is rather informal...also ref 9 isn't very clear
changed wordings to "can also be seen", could you elaborate on how it is unclear? Binarymoron (talk) 14:50, 7 March 2008 (UTC)
Don't worry about the ref, you've answered that with the ref 10 note below. dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 00:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

the site is a flash module and on the flash module character section has to be clicked no separate url can be provided for the section since it is embedded into the main page Binarymoron (talk) 14:50, 7 March 2008 (UTC)

I'm not going to pass this as a GA or re-review, but if you want to renominate, I won't stop you, though I encourage the next reviewer to look at the stuff not done here. dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 00:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] GA Review

GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

This is a very poor example of an anime article and is very far from being a GA level piece. A lot of work, as noted blow is needed. Failed as a GA and fixed assessment back to Start.

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
Contains weasel words and non-neutral language.
    B. MoS compliance:
Article needs to be cleaned up and properly formatted and organized per the Anime and Manga MOS. Most sections are out of order. There are some sections that don't belong and need to be removed, such as the Staff section, which goes against the MOS and project section. The DVD section is badly formatted. The episode list fails the MOS and is missing some of the most basic episode data. The references are very poorly formatted. There should be one reference per <ref></ref> tag, not multiple as is seen in ref #13. Several references are repeated multiple times giving the appearance of the article having more references than it really does. References are shoved in the lead rather than being properly listed in the appropriate sections (currently missing) which should have additional details. Fails WP:LEAD.
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
    Multiple unreferenced statements
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
Biased in favor of the series is evident in several sections, particularly the reception section where no criticisms are noted and in the plot section.
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
Article contains excessive non-free images that provide no critical content to the article but act as decoration (tagged for non-free). Also has an image of living persons of questionable necessity/purpose.
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
