Mr. Underground has been dropping mixtapes on the streets of Texas and surrounding states since 2003 and is building a spreading fanbase with his newest releases and collaborative mixtapes. His entrance to the mixtape arena was in 2003 with "Fresh Out Da Shack." His most recent mixtape is "Underground Road Trip" which has been featured in Ozone Magazine, Buzz Magazine, www.certifiedhiphop.com, www.sosouth.com, www.wordofsouth.com, www.thescrewshop.com, and www.ttownmusic.net Underground Road Trip was released under limited distribution but often was the highest selling mixtape in stores where it was sold. In addition to his own mix cds Mr. Underground has mixed cds for various underground artists such as Smoke, Chuck Feeze, and Da Practice. Mr. Underground releases his mixtapes under the Small World Music Group imprint also based in Texas.

After the immediate success of his 1st mixape "Fresh Out Da Shack" Mr. Underground accepted a position as an on air DJ/radio personality at the Y101.9 Street Party in Lufkin Texas in 2003 which he maintained until late 2004. Mr. Underground also created and hosted "The Underground Sound Machine" at his alma mater Stephen F. Austin State University in 2006.
