Mr. Goodbar
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mr. Goodbar is a chocolate candy bar which contains peanuts. It is manufactured by The Hershey Company. It was introduced in 1925 as one of the company's original chocolate bars. The formula was tweaked in 1992 to add more peanuts. Although still available as an individual product, it is also seen as one of the varieties of Hershey's Miniatures. The product's packaging can be easily identified by its distinctive yellow background with red copy. Mr. Goodbar was spoofed in the wacky package, "Mrs. Goodbar" (Who hates her husband) in a recent series.
Looking for Mr. Goodbar was the title of a 1975 novel by Judith Rossner, and an Oscar-nominated 1977 movie.
