The MP 446 Viking is a semi-automatic 9mm handgun originating from Russia. It was created by the Izhevsk Mechanical Works, located in Russia. It weighs at around 830 grams when unloaded, and has a magazine capacity of 17 rounds. Its main purpose was for use in warfare, where the pistol could be used with armor-piercing rounds. The pistol is recoil-operated and came soon after the invention of the Yarygin PYa pistol, which is closely related to the MP 446. This double action pistol is one of Russia's prized possessions because of its durable materials, including a frame that will not rust in any condition. For civilian use, the pistol can only be loaded with 10 rounds of 9mm Luger.
