Mozart Santos Batista Júnior, usually known simply as Mozart (born November 8, 1979 in Curitiba, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer. He currently plays defensive midfielder for FC Spartak Moscow. He is a playmaker and controls play from a deep position.

After having represented in his country Coritiba and Flamengo, Mozart embarked on an European adventure, joining Serie A's Reggina Calcio.
In late 2005, Mozart joined Spartak Moscow, in the Russian Premier League.

Mozart played for Brazil in the 2000 Summer Olympics.

Mozart claims that he has Polish ancestors and in 2006 was thinking of playing for Poland but the topic dropped.[1]
