Moylagh, County Meath

Moylagh is part of the parish of Oldcastle in the northwest of County Meath, Ireland. The parish is small but has received an influx of new residents in the past few years, mainly from Dublin and Eastern Europe.

Moylagh has a well-equipped community centre with Gaelic Athletic Association pitch, two racquetball courts and an indoor soccer hall. The hall has played host to several all-Ireland racquetball tournaments, as well as drama competitions such as Scór na nÓg. St. Mary's Church in Moylagh is a large 19th century Roman Catholic church with an adjoining graveyard. The current priest there is Fr. Eugene Conlan. Across the road from the church is Scoil Mhuire national school, which caters to the primary education of approximately 150 pupils.

A notable industry in Moylagh, and a large employer is in engineering. There are three engineering firms in the parish, mainly specialising in steel products.
