Moxy Früvous is the first indie tape release from Canadian band Moxy Früvous. It was recorded in 2 days in 1992 in Toronto. It contains six songs, 5 of which later appeared on their major-label debut, Bargainville.

The tape shares many similarities with The Yellow Tape by Barenaked Ladies. Both tapes were originally meant as demos, but then became among the first independently-released cassettes to be certified platinum in Canada. Another similarity is that although they are officially self-titled, both tapes have been given unofficial nicknames (Früvous’ tape being called “The Indie Tape” or “Independent Cassette” among fans of the band, known as “Früheads”).

Although no longer produced, the tape can often be found in used record stores and internet auction sites in Canada. Some members of the Früvous fan club were also given a sealed copy of the cassette or a CD version of it. The track “Green Eggs And Ham” from the tape is often found on internet file sharing networks, probably because it was not re-recorded for a major-label release. The tape's version of "The King of Spain" was used for the song's music video.
