MOWC

MOWC is an acronym for the (U.S.) Military Officers' Wives' Club. Many U.S. military installations have an MOWC, in which wives of military officers come together for social events. Aside from being a social organization, many MOWC organizations will raise money to assist charitable organizations in their local area.

Some clubs have changed their names to MOSC (Military Officers' Spouses' Club), in an effort to include male and female members.
