Is there a reason why this is "Movie Gallery Stadium, Troy" and not just "Movie Gallery Stadium"? Is there another one somewhere else? Rlquall 00:39, 18 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Scrushy

It appears that some folks are attempting to remove any reference to the stadium previously being named for Richard Scrushy. I understand that this may be somewhat embarrassing for the school, but it nevertheless is a significant part of the facility's history. Realkyhick 01:41, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] ==

The name of the stadium is Movie Gallery Veteran's Stadium, not "Movie Gallery Stadium, Troy." No one mentions his name in relation to the stadium because a) the stadium wasn't named after him, the field was, and b) Since Scrushy's convictions no one really considers it 'Scrushy Field' anymmore. Troy has played football for around 100 years, the field was named after him for just a few. That does not make it a significant part of Troy's history. Trojan101 08:14, 25 March 2007 (UTC)
