Moving to New York is a song by the Liverpool band The Wombats. It was released on January 14, 2008. The song is taken from the band's album A Guide to Love, Loss and Desperation. The song continues the bands style of upbeat Indie music, as a follow up to the energetic Let's Dance To Joy Division. The one B-side is "Party in a Forest (Where's Laura?)".[1]

Critics of the single have said that "the song is upbeat and catchy", and music website Lunapark6 rated the single 8/10.[1] The Unreality Music website described the song as "one of those joyous, frenetic noise-fests". [2]
