[edit] Plot

When Ted, Hank's elderly neighbor dies, Bill pitches a plan to rent his house as a club house to which Dale Gribble, Boomhauer, and Hank all agree.

That evening Luanne, gets off work and takes a bath, walking through Hank and Peggy's bedroom while they were making love.

Hank is outraged and points out that Luanne has violated numerous rules and insists that she pays rent.

She instead rents Ted's house and brings in a series of roommates and moves out of the Hills' house. She soon has problems with her roommates who refuse to pay their bills, eat her food, and do not clean up after themselves. When she points out that they have failed to abide by the rules, she is horrified to realize that she has become just like Hank.

She and Hank reconcile and Hank tells her he found solace in his lawn and for her to find a hobby. Her hobby becomes cleaning and maintaining the swimming pool.

In the end she has learned to live successfully on her own, and found a way to get her freeloading roommates to take responsibility for their expenses.
