Frequently, dentists will ask the patients to not breathe through their mouth, as this helps prevent fogging up the mirror, and also the mirror may be wiped down by the saliva of the patient or blown with air by the assistant. - Dozenist talk 03:13, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
