In 1963, Mouscron is annexed to the province of Hainaut to reflect the predominantly francophone population.

Yes, it was part of the province of West-Flanders. See for instance the city's official web site, under "Histoire" – "Dates". LVan 01:10, 11 December 2006 (UTC)
