I removed the statement indicating that the "corporate name" has been met by great dissatisfaction and is ignored by most anyone. It's incorrect to say that "Milan Puskar Stadium" is corporate as it was named after a private benefactor, not a company. I think the opening paragraph stating that it is more commonly refered to as the orginal name of Mountaineer Field is enough. --MogWV 01:19, 19 October 2006 (UTC)

"Going into the 2007 football season, the stadium turf is being changed from AstroTurf to a more synthetic turf."

The surface installed in 2002 was AstroPlay, the new surface is going to be FieldTurf. The article has been corrected with that information RandyBeegle 04:29, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Mountaineer Field is Largest Big East Field?

The statement that Mountaineer Field is the largest in the Big East is not correct. Wikipedia lists both University of Pittsburgh's Heinz Field (64,450) and University of South Florida's Raymond James Stadium (66,321) as being larger than the 60,000 listed on Wikipedia or the 63,500 listed on both [[1]] and http://www.collegegridirons.com/bigeast/MountaineerField.htm. Perhaps this entry is referring to only college stadiums in the Big East, as Pitt and USF play in NFL stadiums. The key statement is that it's the largest on-campus facility. Heinz and Raymond James are not on the Pitt/USF campuses. Of Big East teams, only WVU, Syracuse, Rutgers, Louisville, and Cincinnati have on-campus stadiums. MogWV 18:08, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
