Is it Hartmanni or Hartmannae? I seem to be getting differing spellings from other websites.

It is officially hartmannae! Pmaas 13:01, 21 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Revision into two species

I've changed this article and added some new information. Groves & Bell revised the Zebra genus Equus, subgenus Hippotigris in their 2004 publication in Mammalian Biology. Cape Mountain Zebra and Hartmann's Mountain Zebra are now seen as two separate species, and not as subspecies anymore. See the article for more information and references. I support this proposal. They are TWO different species and should be represented as such. Arthurian Legend 16:42, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
