The boys swim team arefdkla and become a force in southwest Washington, winning 7 consecutive district titles and finishing ninth as a team at state in 2007. Their third place finish in the 2007 200-yard medlay relay was the best finish ever by a Southwest Washington high school. The coach is seven time coach of the year Dave Shoup.
The football team has fallen upon a few years of tough times. The Thunder finished third in state two consecutive years from 2002–2003, but since then has struggled to make the state playoffs.
The dance team has also become a force. They have won state twice in the last four years, and have received strong support from the Mountain View community.
