[edit] Peak Elevation

My topographic map conflicts with the elevation listed on the map of trails for the ski area. I'm going by the topo for now, cause it used it for all my information. Feel free to find a different source to cite! -- Protocoldroid 22:09, 15 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Proto

nice work; the site was needed. i will check out my maps. i have a pic of lake solitude which i will post. i have another shot of the mountain from lake sunapee that you might like more than the one i just posted. please feel free to do with as u wish.

[edit] Proto

i put four pics out on wiki. they are as follows

image:LakeSolitude.jpg Image:LakeSolitudeHikers.jpg Image:MtSunapeeataDistance.jpg Image:MountSunapeeWinter.jpg

do any of these appeal to you in lieu of the ones that are on the MountSunapee page?

i asked Ken Gallagher whether i could use the solitude hikers pic with pictures of my grandchildren in it. it is a better reality picture but, of course, i do not want to violate any wiki rules. joe 20:45, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] notes on two pictures used in this page

both pics are crooked and need a little repair. i plan to do it soon. joe 20:47, 18 August 2006 (UTC)

Joe! These photos are great! Really appreciate it. I don't see the crookedness right away, but, if you have the time / the urge, that would be most excellent. -- Protocoldroid 21:30, 18 August 2006 (UTC)
Love the new photo on the left. This article has been gorgeous-ified!! -- Protocoldroid 04:27, 21 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Gallery

the gallery was not aesthetically pleasing to me and i havent figured out how to control it wath software. so i eliminated it. i will work on trying to make the pictures fit better. joe 01:16, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

it's definitely fine with me, it's looking pretty good at the moment, i'm going to line up the two photos on the left. -- Protocoldroid 13:39, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Needs separate article for ski area

At least, I think so. The mountain ridge is notable in its own right, but the ski area is notable enough not to be jammed in at the end. (So it differs from, say, Crotched Mountain Ski Area, in which the mountain is not notable enough to have an article separate from the ski area) Any objections? - DavidWBrooks (talk) 21:20, 28 February 2008 (UTC)

Go for it! --Ken Gallager (talk) 00:31, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
Sounds good, David. I know that User:Jrclark has done a lot of work on New England ski areas; you might want to collaborate with him. --Pgagnon999 (talk) 00:43, 29 February 2008 (UTC)
