[edit] Which Davis?

Which Davis is Mount Davis actually named for? I would think it's only named for one person, not the whole family. The information about the Davis family is interesting but looks like it should be in its own article, perhaps entitled Davis family of Massachusetts.--Ken Gallager (talk) 13:25, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
