Mt Darwin is situated in the northen part of Zimbabwe. It starts from Dick Hark stretching through the farming area of Tsakare, Chesa, Mutungagore engulfing the Mt Darwin Town which acts as the district cordinating center. The expansion spreads upto Mkumbura popularry called Dande Valley.
The Mt Darwin area is composed of two constituanies which are Mt Darwin North and South and the area is home to the Korekore Shona speaking ethnic people of Zimbabwe. Its in this bdistrict where the Zimbabwe liberation struggle was first waged and took a center stage before it spread to other parts zeroing the Mozambique border.
