Talk:Mount Ayr, Iowa
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Lots of informaiton has been lost
The Mount Ayr Page used to contain relevant town information such as authors who wrote about Mount Ayr and local church's and other things... what happened? I cant beleive that wiki would let good information go unnoticed! Please explain WHY this information was removed, since I find SEVERAL places on wiki that such information is INCLUDED. When I go to WikiIOWA, there are LOTS Of sections where information on local music, folk lore and art and parks and TONS of other type of similar information is REQUESTED... what happened?
- Unlike other articles, this page was completely missing citations and written in an unencyclopedic style. Other articles don't have the ALLCAPS in the middle of the text and lists of berries available to pick in local parks. Nyttend 04:30, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
HOW is that information "non- encyclopedic"? it is factual information that one might be interested in finding. where is your sense of adventure? i thought wiki was about stepping OUT of a traditional box ( bunch of books on a shelf), but i see that some of the "mods" here are a bit old fashioned... and WHY was only the berry issue discussed in this response.. what about BOOKS written about mount ayr? and the other stuff i asked about.. and my comment about what wiki iowa was SPECIFICALLY asking for? local music, folk lore and arts, parks, etc..?? is this really about some caps? and the STYLE of writing? goodness... me..... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.6.100.162 (talk)
