Mourning Tide

Mourning Tide is an Australian hardcore-metal band. It formed in 2000 on the Gold Coast, Queensland.

The band began as four friends with the same vision; to be a unique and entertaining band in the emerging hardcore/metal scene. Touring hard and partying harder has earned them a strong local following on the east coast of Australia.

In 2003, Mourning Tide released their successful self-titled debut EP, through Modern Music/Sony/BMG. From this success, Mourning Tide have supported and toured with international guests - Eighteen Visions, Negative Approach, Every Time I Die, Strung Out, Soilwork, Warzone with Raybeez, Throwdown, On Broken Wings, Cro Mags and hometown boys - Parkway Drive, I Killed the Prom Queen, and After The Fall.

Although Mourning Tide has been through a major line-up change within the last year, the change has been welcomed, inspiring the members to take on a new direction with their material.

In August 2006, Mourning Tide delivered their highly anticipated debut full-length entitled, Trash 'N' Burn. Trash 'N' Burn is an explosive album, fusing brutality, glamour & sleazy rock. While maintaining the ferocious and intense metal sound of their self-titled EP, the new album sees a triumphant return to early 1980s rock n roll, complete with wailing guitar solos and dirty rock vocals.

With a loyal fan base continuing to grow Australia-wide and a reputation for their blistering live shows, Mourning Tide have produced an LP, that will dazzle their current fans.

Mourning Tide's debut full-length, Trash 'N' Burn is released through Modern Music/The Red Label/Sony/BMG.
