The Mourning Sierra-finch (Phrygilus fruticeti) is a species of bird in the Emberizidae family. It is found in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Falkland Islands, Peru, South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland and subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland.
