Mountbatten internship programme

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Founded in 1984, the Mountbatten Internship Programme is dedicated to the promotion of educational and business links between the USA and the UK. The Programme is named in honour of the late Earl Mountbatten of Burma, a noted supporter of international education and training. His daughter, The Countess Mountbatten, is its patron. It is a not-for-profit organization.

The mission of the Mountbatten Internship Programme is to foster international and cross cultural understanding through experiential education, practical training and residence abroad, and to provide opportunities for personal growth and professional development.

Both programmes: one in New York City and one in London - last a full 12 months.
