Mountain Goat Brewery is a small independent brewery in Richmond, Victoria, Australia. The brewery was founded, and continues to be managed by, Cam Hines and David Bonighton. Their first batch of 'Hightale Ale' was produced in 1997, and currently over 30 retailers supply their beers on tap, mainly localised through inner Melbourne. Their various beers have won many accolades at the Australian International Beer Awards.

The brewery's head brewer is Jayne Lewis.

As well as their regular offerings (see below), the brewery rotates a series of "one-off" brews, generally only available on site, at the brewery's own bar, but occasionally available both on tap and in bottles at select outlets. Examples of these limited run brews have been the Old Surefoot, a Double India Pale Ale and a Hefe Weizen (or wheat beer).
