Established in 1893, Mount Vernon Academy is the oldest existing Seventh-day Adventist boarding highschool. More than 7,000 students have attended and/or graduated from MVA. Many of these alumni have impacted the world to a great extent through various occupations and/or community involvement. These alumni often attribute their success to the education and training received at MVA. Vegetarian meals are served in the school cafetaria. Mr. David Daniels is the current principal. Boys' Dorm is called Hadley Hall. Girls' Dorm is called Linden Hall.
