Mount Rennie rape case

The Mount Rennie rape case was a pack rape that took place in Moore Park, Sydney, Australia in 1886. The trial judge, William Charles Windeyer, sentenced nine young men to death and four were hanged in 1887 despite strong community opposition, especially from Irish Australians.[1][2]
