Mount Prospect School District 57

Mount Prospect Public School District 57 is a community public school district that serves over 2,000 pre-kindergarten through eighth grade students in Mount Prospect, Illinois, United States, covering an area of 4.3 square miles (11.1 kmĀ²).[1]

District 57 operates four schools:


Most District 57 students attend Prospect High School, as part of Township High School District 214.

[edit] Lincoln Junior High School

Lincoln Junior High School is a public middle school in the Chicago suburb of Mount Prospect, Illinois in the United States, as part of Mount Prospect School District 57. It serves 6th through 8th grades, and there are 750 students and 70 staff members. Both Lions Park Elementary School and Fairview Elementary School feed into Lincoln.[2] It offers a curriculum of Math, Science, Language Arts, Social Studies, Tech Education Computer Education, English Learner Programs, Spanish, Home Economics, Music, French and Physical Education. The school provides a special education program designed for students with explicit needs. The current principal of Lincoln Jr. High School is Don Angelaccio.[3]
