The Mount Pleasant Elementary School District operates five pre-high schools in San Jose, California, USA. The district has 143 teachers (FTEs) serving 2849 students.

There have been plans in the district to change the grade levels of each school. Robert Sanders, Mount Pleasant, Valle Vista, and Ida Jew will become K-5 schools (elementary schools) and August Boeger will become a 6-8 school (middle school, instead of a junior high school). The plans will come into effect during the 2007-2008 school year.
