Mount Osutaka

Mount Osutaka (御巣鷹山, Osutaka-yama) is a mountain in Gunma Prefecture Ueno Village. It is 1,639m tall.

The plane crash of JAL 123 was initially reported on Mount Osutaka, but later confirmed to be on a ridge near Mount Takamagahara. It was the most deadly single plane accident in world history.
