Mount Mallis

Mount Mallis (75°40′S, 160°48′E) is a mountain, 1,360 m, midway between Mount Joyce and Mount Billing in the Prince Albert Mountains, Victoria Land. It was mapped by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos in 1956-62, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for Robert R. Mallis, geomagnetist/seismologist with the South Pole Station winter party, 1966.
