Mount Isbell (mountain, 2360 m, at the northeast perimeter of Geologists Range, Churchill Mountains. The summit is 2.6 miles (4.2 km) west of Vogt Peak. Named by Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) after John Isbell, Department of Geosciences, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; investigator of Permian and Lower Triassic strata of the Darwin and Churchill Mountains in several field seasons, 1992-2001, including work near this mountain.
