Mount Irvine, New South Wales

Mount Irvine is a small village in the state of New South Wales, Australia in the City of Blue Mountains.


Coordinates: 33°30′S 150°28′E / -33.5, 150.467

Siutated at 850 metres above sea level and 85 km from sydney 'as the crow flies' but more than 2 hours by car. The small area of Mt Irvine has a wet micro climate and rich basalt soils weathered from ancient volcanics.

The area is typified by some spectacular cool climate gardens like it's neighbour mount Wilson. The area is famous for Walnuts and chestnuts.
