Mount Hutton is a suburb of Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia, located 14 kilometres (9 mi) from Newcastle's central business district on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie. It is part of the City of Lake Macquarie local government area.
There has been series of construction of commission homes, these homes are owned by the government, which eventually they sell to the tenant for a reasonable price.
The Lake Macquarie Fair shopping centre is one of the features of the suburb.
