Mount Hermon School is a school in the town of Darjeeling, in the Indian state of West Bengal. It is located on Lebong cart road in the hilly town. It follows the American education style, rather than the usual British style in vogue in the other schools of the area. It offers co-education.

Mount Hermon was founded in 1895 under the auspices of the Methodist Episcopalian Church of America by Miss Emma Knowles who was the first principal. It was know as Queen's Hill School and meant for girls but the name changed to Mount Hermon School in 1930 when boys were admitted. Now,down the years it has changed but it still remains an extremely good school.

The School is located on a large area of land, and is known as one of the best schools in Darjeeling. The current principal is Mr. George Fernandez, assisted by Mr. S. Simon (Senior Master), and Mrs. S. Fernandez (Junior Supervisor). The student body is divided into four "houses" - Dewey, Fisher, Knowles and Stahl, which are named after the surnames of previous Principals of the school.

Fisher House has been the most popular house so far in the schools history. It has had outstanding athletes.

The students of Mt. Hermon regularly take part in extra-curricular activities, and the school is very well in known in the town of Darjeeling for putting up spectacular drama productions every year. Some of the most recent ones have been My Fair Lady, The King and I, and The Sound of Music, all of which have been immensely popular. Some of the students who acted in these plays are Saurabh Gupta, Pratima Gurung, Binayak Sundas,Nikita Subba etc. The plays were directed by C.V.Barracliffe, Manuel Coutihno and Pemba Tamang. Mt. Hermon (commonly called "MH" by the students) is probably the only school in darjeeling to currently have an outdoor swimming pool.
