Mount Field is a mountain in the Wellington Ranges northwest of the city of Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is frequently snow covered, sometimes even in summer. It is a major feature of the Mount Field National Park, and is a popular venue with bushwalkers, containing several trails, and also contains two ski runs, and three tows.
The mountain has two main peaks, referred to as Mount Field East, and Mount Field West. The West peak is the highest, and it rises to 1,434 metres AHD, making it the eighth highest peak in Tasmania.
