Mount Everest Boarding School is one of the oldest private schools in Pokhara, known for its excellent academic tradition.It is located in the city of Pokhara.

In the year 1985, Dr.Vijay Raj Sharma, a prominent lecturer from Tribhuvan University conceived the idea of a school to meet the education needs of the growing community in Pokhara.

With a view of imparting quality education to the students of Pokhara Valley, Mount Everest Boarding School was established on 3rd Poush, 2042 (18th Dec, 1985) by Dr.Vijay Raj Sharma. The then Regional Educational Director Mr. Anand Lal Pradhan was the chief guest at that programme. Since its establishment, the school has produced may well qualified students who have made the school very much proud of its students.

In the year 2054 B.S, the students appeared for the S.L.C exams for the first time. The students performed excellently. All the students achieved 1st Division results in the very first time the school appeared for the S.L.C exams.

The School is situated in the beautiful city of Pokhara. The school premises provide a wonderful educational environment for its students. Home to over four hundred students today and at a grand old age of twenty, Mount Everest's has indeed come a long way.

The School motto reads "Committed to Academic and Extracurricular Excellence".It signifies the school's commitment to provide excellent academics and extracurricular activities.
