Mount Cudi is a mountain in southeast Turkey, rising to a height of 2,089 meters. According to some traditions,[who?] Noah's Ark landed on Mount Cudi. However a German geologist Dr. Friedrich Bender has carbon dated pieces of burned wood that he found on Cudi in 1954 to 4500 BC.
