Mount Clark is an 11,522 feet (3,512 m) tall granite peak in the Sierra Nevada. It is a popular destination for mountaineering.
It takes its name from Galen Clark, an early explorer and guardian of Yosemite National Park. It is the namesake of its subrange, the Clark Range of the Sierra Nevada. Before taking its present name, it was called the Obelisk.[5] The lake on its northeast flank still bears the latter name.
