Mount Brilliant

Mount Brilliant was a property located in Northern Hanover County, Virginia and purchased by John Henry in 1749. John Henry was the father of Patrick Henry and William Henry, both lived at Mount Brilliant. But many years later the Henry Family just called it "The Retreat".

The house was later destroyed, but in April 27, 1985 the cemetery at the old Henry property became a historical marker due to the grave of John Henry.
