Mount Bower

Mount Bower (mountain (2,610 m) standing 6 miles (10 km) east-northeast of Roberts Butte in the Outback Nunataks. It was mapped by United States Geological Survey (USGS) from surveys and U.S. Navy air photos, 1959-64, and named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names (US-ACAN) for John R. Bower, ionospheric physicist at South Pole Station, 1968.
