Mount Airy is an unincorporated community in the northeastern corner of Pittsylvania County, Virginia, United States. It is one of the oldest communities in the area, appearing on maps which predate the American Civil War. The elevation of the city is 648 feet. It is included in the Danville, Virginia Metropolitan Statistical Area.
