Black and white photograph of two mountain gorillas (Gorilla gorilla berengei), an adult female and a newborn infant. Shows size difference between newborns and adults. These gorillas are part of the Nkuringo troop in the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda.

Taken in January 2005 by Kurt Ackermann (Wikipedia member KMRA) using a Pentax K-1000 camera body with a Sigma 100-300 zoom lens and Fuji ASA 1600 speed film. Scanned using a desktop flatbed scanner in RGB colorspace and cropped to 486x357 pixels.
