Category:Mountain huts in Canada

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Canada's backcountry huts range from remote bivi shelters at the base of distant mountains to log cabins with casual approaches in the Rocky and Selkirk Mountains of Alberta and British Columbia.

Additional huts are found in southern British Columbia, Ontario and the Keene Valley of New York State (managed by the Alpine Club of Canada). Front-country facilities include the Canadian Alpine Centre and International Hostel in Lake Louise and the Canmore Clubhouse in Canmore, home of the national ACC office.

All of these facilities offer rustic hospitality in Canada's most popular mountain environments.
