Talk:Motorola RAZR maxx
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I have redirected the page Motorola MAXX to this page. When the name of the phone becomes clear, the article should be moved appropriately. JimXugle 04:09, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
I did a lot of work on this page... basically I took a lot of information from the official page. Be nice... this is my first major Wikipedia edit. Merry Christmas. JimXugle 05:44, 24 December 2006 (UTC)
- As I knew from the ITU Telecom World 2006 in Hong Kong, there are two Motorola RAZR maxx phones which are V3 and V6. RAZR maxx V3 looks like the RAZR V3, and maxx V6 is shown in the photos in Motorola RAZR V3 and in Motorola RAZR maxx V6's site. I think there is a need to specify clearly what the RAZR maxx here is referring to. Peterwhy 00:52, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- The RAZR maxx V3 that I saw LOOKS similar to this: [1]. By the way, enjoy Wikipedia~ Peterwhy 00:59, 31 December 2006 (UTC)

- That last link you posted looks like that phone is called the "Motorola xx", not the "Motorola Maxx". I agree with you, I didn't post anything about motorola's "V" terminology, and this could be confusing. I'll go fix that. JimXugle 22:29, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
Since I've got one of these (Maxx V6) I've updated the page to show it as available and reference it's similarity to the V3x. FWIW it's been available since Feb here in the UK on the Orange network. Jckcip 02:57, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
The V6 Maxx is much more similar to the V3xx than it is to the V3x. All of the V series menu structures are similar, though there are a couple of little differences. The V6 is easily distinguishable from other V series handsets by its tempered glass front and blue media control buttons. The only problem with this way of telling which phone is which will be when the V8 and the V9s are released because they also have a large glass front. The big difference between these two are that the V6s have a small screen under that glass, and the entire front of the phone is a screen.Smacky_Wolf 5:55. 17/07/07
The V3xx only has a 1.3M external camera as opposed to the V3x and V6 Maxx's 2Mpixel. While the V3xx has some improvements over the V3x (software and HSDPA), in basic spec, the V3x would appear most similar. Jckcip 10:03, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
