[edit] need for speed?

wasnt this part of ea's need for speed series? Chardrc 23:10, 19 December 2005 (UTC)

It's name started out as a Need For Speed game but I dont think it held the name upon release. I played this game from beta to the day it went offline. 12:23pm CST 28 February 2006

Didn't this game have 2 modern cars. I can remember a Mitsubishi eclipse and a Toyota supra. I also distinctly remember the fan base been extremely annoyed with EA's decision in the matter. 17:55 EST, 13 November 2006

Yes it did feature an Eclipse and Supra, and as mentioned many fans were very angry. 20:02, 5 December 2006 (UTC)

And here almost 4 years later were still waiting for a game that brought the excitement and realism that MCO brought. Theres been lots of MCO mods but nothing like the real game.....

COORS (CCA)

[edit] The Tradgedy

Really, this was a tradgedy.. what a fantastic game. I would like to add much more detail to this wiki since I was very involved in this community, and miss it greatly. I think more detail is needed in regards to the complex motor/engine/suspension modifications, the newpaper feature, as well as the long time effort to bring it back, and EA's refusal to release any serverside code. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.142.251.253 (talk) it was the greatest racing game ever and they shut it down, thats crap, someone needs to start it back up again With much faster internet & pc's a newer version of motor city online would be welcomed by a huge group of old and new fans (young & old), I know every prior user of the 1st version would come back in a heartbeat. If EA will not put out a new edition another company should, the game was to good to just drop! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.83.183.119 (talk) 17:54, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
