There are very few pictures of Kajii. The most classic/official one can be seen as:
- An average 331x472 JPEG version at http://www.kjk.ne.jp/~states/cgi-bin/biblio/images/442.jpg - it seems the basis for the ones below (cropped version of it) and is probably © Kyodo News (see below), but is fair use for a biographical article.
Some cropped version of the same are:
- A small 163x189 JPEG version at http://kajipon.sakura.ne.jp/kt/haka-topic20.html (middle one) - a cropped version also often used
- A small 110x135 JPEG version at http://jlpp.jp/english/list/works08/ - inferior cropped version of the one above, but its caption "Courtesy of KYODO NEWS" gives us a reference for the photog credits to give to the one above.
- A small 118x170 JPEG close-up of the face at http://art-random.main.jp/samescale/030/031-m-kajii-1.jpg - same poststamp size than the ones above, but some may think it better to have just the face.
A younger Kajii can also be seen at:
- A small 120x162 JPEG close-up at http://www.shunkin.net/Auteurs/index.php?author=60
- Again at http://kajipon.sakura.ne.jp/kt/haka-topic20.html
- Top and bottom of http://uraaozora.jpn.org/kajii.html
IMO, the very first one I listed should be the one to use (it's a full version of the classic photo, and it displays Kajii's relative "ugliness", which was part of his low self-esteem and troubles with women) - or a bigger/better JPEG version of it, or an enhanced contrast version of it. 62.147.39.131 01:12, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
