• The official Motörhead site announce that "Mikkey, Phil and Lemmy have all gathered in Los Angeles to begin working on a follow up to the fan and critically acclaimed Kiss of Death album."

• Motörhead are scheduled to play eighteen dates across Holland, Germany, Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Finland.

• Motörhead are scheduled to play ten dates in England with Alice Cooper and Joan Jett.

• The new Motörhead live album Better Motörhead than Dead: Live at Hammersmith is released.
