MOTUL is a lubricants manufacturing company with headquarters located in Paris, France. Operations began in Europe in 1932. Motul first produced multi-grade Motor oil in 1953, Semi-Synthetic motor oil in 1966 and fully-synthetic motor oil in 1971^{[citation needed]}.
